With ADT Canopy, 24/7 monitoring will expand to a wider array of mobile devices so that customers can readily communicate with an ADT professional when an emergency strikes.

While products such as ADT Pulse have already made it possible for customers to access their home security system through their mobile device, ADT Canopy ramps up monitoring capability by expanding its service to a wider array of third-party devices, reflecting on a growing list of partnerships that the company has recently entered.

Working with brands such as Samsung, Kidde, Wink, and August, on-the-go ADT customers will have more opportunities to reap the benefits of ADT monitoring no matter where they happen to be.
ADT technology will be integrated into devices such as the Samsung Gear S2 Watch, Samsung SmartThings, August Doorbell Cam, Honeywell Lyric products, and more. This integration will allow customers to instantly access live support and help from ADT monitoring professionals across the ADT network.
For users of the Samsung Gear G2 Watch, an ADT icon will be available to tap for instant help and connection to local authorities when needed. This is just one example of how ADT Canopy streamlines the communication process between the customer, ADT monitoring, and local authorities to keep homes and neighborhoods safer across the country.
As has long been the case with ADT Home Security, Canopy customers can expect monitoring and quick dispatch in the case of any danger to one’s home – including intrusions, fires and gas. Whether they are at home or at work, customers will be able to speak to an ADT professional to assess the situation at hand.
